BACK IN THE DAY...
Texas Tech open it's doors on Feburary 10th, 1923. At the time, there were only a few majors. These included Engineering, Home Economics, Agriculture, and Liberal Arts. Tech opened with 925 students in 1923 and has grown to over 40,000 in the Fall 2022 Semester. Texas tech will celebrate 100 years as a university during the Spring 2023 semester.
